Survey Finds Democrats Favor “None of the Above” For 2020

(TeaParty.org) – In merely a decade, the Democratic party has gone from one perceived as cool and hip to a party of old white guys.

Isn’t that the demographic they claim to fight against?

Funny how that works.

In a recent survey conducted by The Hill, it appears that when it comes to Democrat voters’ top choices for President…”no one” is more appealing than the top contenders they currently have.

“The survey, conducted among 680 registered voters who identified themselves as Democrats or independents, found that ‘none of the above’ was the most popular choice among potential 2020 challengers to President Trump,” the outlet explains.

The potential candidates with the best chance of being nominated by the party have little enthusiasm behind them from voters.

“Twenty-five percent of respondents said (Joe) Biden would be their preferred nominee,” the Hill reports.

“(Bernie) Sanders, who ran in the Democratic presidential primary in 2016, came in second with 18 percent,” they continue. “Twelve percent of the independents and Democrats surveyed picked (Hillary) Clinton.”

The “hip, young, and cool” party can’t seem to find anyone worth running that’s younger than 70, apparently.

No wonder respondents preferred “none of the above.”

The poll did mention some “fresh” names as well from those who are considering a run but are likely too polarizing to do well, among them California Senator Kamala Harris, anti-gun billionaire Michael Bloomberg, Senator Elizabeth “Fauxcahontas” Warren.

Only 4% of respondents found any of these potential candidates palatable.

Gone are the days of Bill Clinton, John F. Kennedy, or Barak Obama. The Democratic party has a lot of work to do in a short amount of time if they want any chance of beating out Trump in 2020. Or even putting up a good fight.
