(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his campaign are taking a whole lot of heat over a political ad that was released last week featuring a supposed Michigan bar owner struggling to keep the doors open and the lights on due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
You know how the left operates. Twist up some poor guy’s sob story and politicize it in order to tug on the heartstrings of liberals who are driven by emotion, all the while pointing the finger at President Trump instead of at crazy tyrant governors mad with power.
However, this particular ad fails to inform you that the guy who owns this establishment isn’t going to to be out on the streets if the Blind Pig — the name of the bar — goes under. In fact, the man in the video is actually a wealthy tech investor and major contributor to Biden’s presidential campaign.
On top of that, he’s also a big supporter of Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, the same woman who went full on King George III on residents of the state by using executive powers to perpetually keep stay-at-home orders in effect. A move that the man in the video actually supported.
Very rattled by Biden running an ad on my local college dive bar/punk venue

Fox News reports that the ad aired on Sunday during NFL games and was also posted to YouTube. The gentleman featured in the video is Joe Malcoun, who is listed as the “co-owner” of the bar located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. And just who did Malcoun blame for the blows his business took during the pandemic?
Not Whitmer. No, he blamed President Trump instead.
“For 50 years, The Blind Pig has been open and crowded – but right now it’s an empty room,” Malcoun says in the ad. “This is the reality of Trump’s COVID response.”
“We don’t know how much longer we can survive not having any revenue. A lot of restaurants, bars that have been mainstays for years will not make it through this. This is Donald Trump’s economy,” the tech investor continues. “There’s no plan, you don’t know how to move forward. It makes me so angry. My only hope for my family and this business and my community is that Joe Biden wins this election. That’s the kind of person we need.”
Hilarious how they try to paint up Malcoun as just a regular, blue collar American about to suffer financial ruin over COVID when in reality, he’s an “angel investor” for various tech companies and inherited a huge chunk of change from his wife’s grandfather.
In April, Malcoun tweeted out praise for Whitmer’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, saying she was “doing it right.”
Malcoun has served as the CEO of a company called Nutshell, which specializes in customer relationship management software, along with founding CKM Capital Partners back in 2013.
This is pure deception and what’s worse is there’s no way Biden’s campaign didn’t know this guy was wealthy and somewhat well known. It speaks volumes about what they think of average Americans to really think we’re too stupid to find out about this.
Deception like this is unacceptable. The ad needs to be pulled and Malcoun needs to apologize for attempting to deceive people with a non-existent sob story. Especially since real Americans are struggling due to oppressive measures taken to control the spread of the coronavirus.
