“It’s A Good Time For A Resurrection, Right?” – Dr. Oz Asked About President Trump’s Easter Goal To Reopen US Economy

(Gateway Pundit) – Dr. Oz joined David Asman on Lou Dobbs Tonight on Tuesday to discuss the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Dr. Oz was asked about President Trump’s stated goal of reopening the economy by Easter.

Dr. Oz said Easter was a good time for a resurrection.

David Asman: Do you think we can hit that note at Easter, that’s when we can begin to reopen businesses?

Dr. Oz: Well, it’s a good time for a resurrection, right? I think medically we’ll have a pretty good idea. You know I used a metaphor when I asked the president about that if it didn’t work out. But I’m a surgeon. A good surgeon can know when a surgery goes well, which is what we’re doing right now in these two weeks. And can tell when the patient can go home. Which again in theory President Trump is looking at Easter. But going one step further and know when we have to readmit a patient when you have to. I think we can be mor aggressive and start to loosen up the reins on America.

  1. Now that I have shocked everybody with my previous comment I will tell you let you know that what I said is exactly what a lot of people would like to see happen. I really believe that President Trump is doing a great job fighting this pandemic and deserves all our support.

  2. I know that what I am about to say may seem extreme but I believe that it is necessary at this time (temporarily). I believe that we need to temporarily stop all travel in and out of the US. We should continue to import and export goods but there should be no people coming in or out of the US at this time. All items coming into the US should be sterilized as good as possible. Everybody should be made aware of what they need to do to be able to safely get the food and other supplies that they need and what they need to do to be able to safely bring those items into their homes with minimal possibility of bringing the virus into their homes. We should also temporarily stop all travel in and out of the areas where the infection is the worse with the exception of making sure those areas get all the food and other supplies that they need to live and fight this virus. The people in these quarantined areas should stay in their homes except to get food, other essential supplies, or to go to the hospital. All the rest of the areas where there have been reported cases should temporarily mandate that everybody stay in there homes except to get food, other necessary supplies, and to go to the hospital if they suspect they are infected. If the infection in those areas continues to spread they will need to be temporarily quarantined too. In all other areas people should be told to remain in their homes except to get food, other supplies, go to work, or to go to the hospital. If any of these areas gets a reported case then the stay at home request should then be changed from a request to a temporary mandate. If the infection continues to spread in that area then it should also be temporarily quarantined too. Once we have made it through this pandemic and there are no more new cases we should relax these restrictions and areas where there are no cases should be able to go back to their normal lives. When the people that are infected in all areas where there is either stay at home mandates or areas that are quarantined have recovered the stay at home mandates or quarantine in that area should be lifted and they should be allowed to go back to their normal lives. Travel in and out of the US should only continue once everybody in the other countries have recovered from the virus. Again I know that these suggestions are extreme and will have dire consequences on our economy but, I believe that this is what it will take to get through this.

Oz became the first person to receive a Pigasus Award two years in a row.[52] In 2012, Oz won “The Pigasus Award for Refusal to Face Reality” for his continued promotion of “quack medical practices, paranormal belief, and pseudoscience”.[53]”
