(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – Early on the day on Tuesday, the folks over at the Gateway Pundit confirmed that Lt. Mike Byrd was indeed the police officer at the Capitol building who shot Ashli Babbitt.
There were two women who were killed on January 6, both murdered in cold blood by the hands of Capitol Police. We don’t hear too much about her, but Rosanne Boyland was also killed outside of the Capitol building that day.
We know that Congress was evacuated on January 6 due to the threat of a pipe bomb. It was not due to Trump supporters who were roaming around in the halls.
However, what’s really egregious is that Rep. Markwayne Mullin, a Republican from Oklahoma, recently spoke with CSPAN stating that he gave Byrd a hug after murdering Babbitt in cold blood.
This man witnessed Babbitt’s death and then hugged the murderer, and comforted him by saying that he “did what he had to do.”

This is sickening and disturbing. It’s even worse since it comes from someone who claims to be a conservative. Babbitt was an unarmed woman and a supporter of President Trump. She was a patriot who had served her nation by being in the armed forces. And how does she get repaid?
By being murdered by a police officer.
Newsmax host Greg Kelly recently weighed in on this whole situation by offering up 5 questions he’d like to hear answered by Lt. Mike Byrd.
1.) “Ashli Babbitt was unarmed. Did you know that? If you didn’t know that, what made you think she was armed?” He asked.
Here are the others:
2.) Did you verbally order her to stop? Did you use any customary words such as “Freeze”, ‘halt”, “go back”, or “stop”?
3.) Police guidelines and law dictates that deadly force not be used unless there is an imminent risk of death to the officer or someone else. What deadly threat did you perceive? Please explain especially as she was unarmed and not within reach of a Capitol Hill police officer or a member of Congress.
4.) Do you have any awareness of the presence of the BLM activist John Sullivan who was recording your shooting of Ashli Babbitt?
5.) What were your personal political views of President Trump, Trump supporters? If negative as has been suggested could that have had any bearing on your decision to shoot?
And while the left continues to try and politicize the riots that happened on January 6th and flip the narrative to paint up every conservative as some sort of violent radical, people forget that Ashli Babbitt has a family that is grieving the loss of their daughter.
In fact, the mother of Ashli Babbitt recently made an appearance at President Trump’s “Rally to Protect Our Elections,” in Arizona where she received a standing ovation.

Justice needs to be served. Lt. Mike Byrd needs to be brought up on charges of murder so that the family of Ashli Babbitt can have some sort of closure in this situation. As of now it seems Byrd has the protection of the Biden administration, who probably think his killing of Babbitt makes him a national hero.
