(Gateway Pundit) – Chairman of the House Intel Committee Devin Nunes (R-CA) and Chairman of the House Oversight Committee Trey Gowdy (R-SC) were invited to meet with Rosenstein, Wray and Senior Intel staff Friday morning.
A senior DOJ official is now claiming Nunes and Gowdy have not responded to their invite.
Fox News producer, Jake Gibson is reporting a DOJ official claimed Nunes and Gowdy have not responded to the invitation extended to them for a Friday morning briefing.
Gibson tweeted: Senior DOJ Official: Earlier in the week (Tuesday), we offered Chairmen Nunes and Gowdy a meeting for Friday morning with the Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, FBI Director Chris Wray, and senior Intelligence Community staff. They have not responded to our invite.

This is a strange development considering Nunes and Gowdy have been hounding Rosenstein to gain access to pertinent Mueller documents including the Rosenstein memo.
Facing contempt charges, Justice Department officials agreed to sit down with Nunes and Gowdy to come to a resolution last week.
Nunes and Gowdy met with Rosenstein and other officials last Thursday in a classified briefing amid a standoff over pertinent ‘Mueller-Russia’ documents being withheld by the swamp.
“We had a productive discussion today with officials from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Department of Justice, and FBI in which we raised questions related to information requested from the Intelligence Community,” Nunes and Gowdy said in a statement. “The officials committed to holding further discussions of these matters, and we look forward to continuing our dialogue next week to satisfy the committee’s request.”
