(TeaParty.org) – It looks like the president is about to tap the shoulder of the next person to fill in White House chief of staff John Kelly’s old job.
Trump is expected to nominate Kirstjen Nielsen as the new head of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as early as Wednesday, Politico reports. Two administration officials and three outside advisers familiar with the happenings in the White House confirmed that Trump has been eyeing Kelly’s former aide for some time to fill the position.
Nielsen, 45, is a top-notch expert in national and cyber security, a former attorney with a strong background in homeland security. Not the least of these include gigs for the Transportation Security Administration and serving under President George W. Bush’s White House Homeland Security Council.

She served as the chief of staff to John Kelly’s highest aide while he was the DHS secretary and went along with him to the West Wing.
Well-rounded and robust, patriots are impressed that Trump has made a very fine choice for the job.
“She would be the first person to run the department who has actually worked there,” said someone close to the White House. “She has a deep familiarity.”
Neither the White House nor Nielsen responded for comment.
According to Politico, she was, “Considered a dark horse candidate for the post, she rose to the top of the list at Kelly’s recommendation — and after other candidates fell through.”
Trump’s new appointment is another open drain in the Obama administration’s swamp, whose former Head of the DHS, Jeh Johnson, was corrupt to his core and a traitor to the country.
Johnson has been known to try to sell favors and “ins” to our government to hostile foreign powers. He was caught on tape soliciting a Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui for representation over his issues with immigration.
He has also been brought into Federal court for using a private email server for conducting business — something Democrats seem to have no problem doing.
And let’s not forget the total, treacherous apathy that Obama’s head of DHS held for the duties of his own position. In June 2015, Johnson blatantly said that the possibility of foreign terrorists infiltrating the U.S. homeland through the Mexico-U.S. border “ is not the thing that I most worry about.”
What a complete joke. Those days are long gone. By putting Ms. Nielsen into the DHS, Trump has once again proven to the Patriots that he’s all about putting America First.
