(Angry Patriot) – Defense Secretary James “Mad Dog” Mattis is known for his bold character and not mincing his words. Recently, Mattis answered a random phone call and had no idea what was in store for him.
The Washington Post “accidentally” released the Defense Secretary’s personal phone number in one of their articles. Surprisingly, Mad Dog received a phone call from two eager high school students who were working on their school newspaper. The students, Jane Gormley and Teddy Fischer, asked for an interview with the legend, and Mattis obliged.
It is amazing that someone in such an influential position took the time to speak with two high school kids who just wanted to get a good story for their paper. The interview was engaging, answered a lot of questions, and inspired hope in the young journalists.
The paper, The Islander, is from Mercer Island High School in Washington State. The questions varied greatly, and the full interview can be found on the website for “The Islander.”
The students’ covered a wide-ranging set of topics including information about Arab countries, how to get rid of ISIS for good, how countries like Russia and Syria formed a bond, and many other hard hitting questions that even the mainstream media is ignoring.
We can learn a lot from this interview. CNN should consider reading it and taking notes. It is a good starter lesson on how to ask questions without sounding like a bunch of biased idiots.
It is not “new” news that CNN has been LYING to the American people for years. It is getting worse as every day passes, especially since President Trump made it into the Oval Office. It is sad that CHILDREN are asking fairer interview questions than grown adults who probably went to college for journalism.
One of the most important topics they covered during the interview was how kids could better prepare for a future in politics. The answers that Mattis gave were incredible.
When they asked him how to prepare to be politically active, he stated, “No matter what you’re going to go into, whether it be business or politics or international relations or domestic politics, I don’t think you can go wrong if you maintain an avid interest in history.”
Mad Dog went on to tell them not to be afraid to go in feet first, either. He explained that when you are in the middle of it all, you gain a sense of courage that you otherwise wouldn’t have. Apparently, being under fire 24/7 by corrupt media outlets helps you develop some thick skin.
The Democrats need to take note. Kids like this are going to be the future leaders. These young people have no time for safe spaces, feelings, or lies. All they wanted were the facts, and guidance on how the facts could be obtained. Maybe if the Left followed this process in their journalism, they wouldn’t be considered the laughing stock of the political world.
