(Angry Patriot) – Democrats are in a panic after a Federal Judge ruled in favor of President Trump.
Liberal activists were handed a major defeat after a Washington, DC judge ruled that President Trump’s Commission on Election Integrity can continue to collect election data, according to Reuters.
The Commission is chaired by Vice President Mike Pence and is co-chaired by Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach. The Commission met for the first time last week.
Kris Kobach was appointed after running a successful investigation to maintain the integrity of Kansas state elections, which resulted in multiple arrests.
Democrats have been opposed to the Commission on Election Integrity since it was first announced by President Trump. Multiple liberal watchdog groups have filed lawsuits attempting to curtail the investigation.
Democrat-backed groups are accusing the Commission of violating privacy laws after Kris Kobach requested that all states turn voter over information before the first meeting of the Commission.
Kris Kobach sought voter roll data, which includes the names of registered voters, the last four digits of their Social Security numbers, criminal records, voting history, and other information.
Democrats are in staunch opposition to the Commission because they are concerned it will reveal mass amounts of illegal immigrants casting ballots on behalf of the Democrats.
Federal Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly rejected an injunction issued by the Election Privacy Information Center (EPIC) alleging that Kobach’s request amounted to illegal data collection. The Washington, DC judge denied their injunction setting back other lawsuits launched by the American Civil Liberties Union.
Kollar-Kotelly ruled that the Commission was legally allowed to request state election data. The lawsuit attempted to block the Commission citing a law preventing government agencies from collecting data. However, the Commission is an advisory committee and is not bound by the same rules as government entities.
Unfortunately, Kollar-Kotelly also prevented the Commission from compelling states to turn over their voter roll information.
Ultimately, the Commission will receive support from states with nothing to hide. You can expect Democrat strongholds to oppose the Commission at every turn.
