BREAKING: After 25 Years of Failed Talks With North Korea, It Happens…

(Conservative Tribune) – Over the past few months, tensions between North Korea and the United States have reached levels not seen since the Korean War, and the world is paying close attention.

A military conflict between the two nations would affect many countries around the world. Reportedly, the United Kingdom is drawing up plans on how it would respond to a conflict involving North Korea, the U.K. Daily Mail reported.

After 25 years of failed diplomacy, it appears that England is finally realizing that military measures may need to be taken against the rogue regime, and is preparing for this eventuality.

While nothing has been officially confirmed, these plans reportedly could involve the deployment of the HMS Queen Elizabeth to North Korea to assist US warships — even though the aircraft carrier isn’t set to enter the service until 2020.

“We have plenty of ships to send … the Type-45 destroyers, the Type-23 frigates. Britain’s new aircraft carrier could be pressed into service early if things turn south,” one British official told the Daily Mail.

Of course, these reports that they are drawing up plans really make you wonder if they never had any plans in the first place, which is a highly disturbing thought.

Given that Britan is a NATO ally, if North Korea attacked the United States mainland, the U.K. would be compelled to send military support to the United States because of Article 5 in the NATO charter (“an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all “).

“In this case, the UK would be part of a united global coalition. We would see what support we could give,” said an anonymous naval source.

If the United States took preemptive military action against North Korea, it is unclear if Britain would join or not. They have their own domestic problems to deal with right now, and might not want to get involved in another overseas war if they could avoid it.

After decades of failure, the world is finally waking up to the reality that there is very little that can be said to change the mind of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

The time for military action may very well be coming soon, and the nations of the world should be prepared for this.
