(TeaParty.org) – Google, owning a virtual monopoly on the entire internet, is running a left-wing Ministry of Truth from its stronghold in Silicon Valley. The liberal powerhouse was exposed for intolerance and leftist bigotry after it fired one of its engineers, James Demore, over a memo that dared to dissent against the corporation’s code of hiring based on race, sex, and religion.
YouTube, owned by Google, is also infamous for restricting, demonetizing, and outright banning content with conservative political leanings. Prager University has sued the online video giant for putting whole reams of its videos in “restricted mode” – indicating it is not safe for children – with completely irrelevant titles such as “Why Isn’t Communism as Hated as Nazism?” and “Why Don’t Feminists Fight for Muslim Women?”
But the corporation practically in control of the entire internet is not letting up on its anti-conservative campaign. Google has moved into its next phase to wipe out all pro-Trump presence on the internet, as they’ve hired more than 10,000 staff whose sole job is to target and eliminate video content that YouTube deems to be “extremist,” reports Britain’s Daily Telegraph.
What constitutes “extremist” content? Writer Susan Wojcicki explains that “bad actors” have used the video platform in order to “mislead, manipulate, harass or even harm.” That’s still a very fuzzy definition.
According to BBC News, these are the steps that YouTube will be taking to crack down on “extremist” content:
- Improving its use of machine learning to remove controversial videos
- Working with 15 new expert groups, including the Anti-Defamation League, the No Hate Speech Movement, and the Institute for Strategic Dialogue.
- Tougher treatment for videos that are not illegal but have been flagged by users as potential violations of its policies on hate speech and violent extremism
- Redirecting people who search for certain keywords towards a playlist of curated YouTube videos that directly confront and debunk violent extremist messages
Notice that they will be collaborating with the Anti-Defamation League, the no Hate Speech Movement, and the Institute for Strategic Dialogue to develop their system for taking down terrorist content – all of which are vehemently anti-conservative organizations.
Susan Wojcicki, writing for the Daily Telegraph, said that the website has been using an algorithm to find and censor extremist content and that more than 150,000 of these videos have been removed since June.
Ironically, while the world’s most massive video-sharing website has been cracking down on PragerU content as “unsafe for children,” videos that actually depict sexually-suggestive and exploitive actions involving children went completely unnoticed by the YouTube monitors until a BuzzFeed article exposed them. That’s not just an algorithm slip – YouTube is more frantic to stop people from criticizing left-wing philosophy than they are keeping children safe from pedophiles, as Tea Party has previously reported. Just absolutely sick.
YouTube’s latest move is politically motivated, and they’re not even hiding it. They are targeting conservatives as extremists and terrorists. But in an effort to protect true, left-wing domestic terrorists, YouTube has also removed videos depicting Antifa causing chaos and violence at protests, reports Narrative Collapse.
While they are a private corporation and free to pick and choose which content can be promoted on their site, they are committing suicide. Alternative video-sharing platforms such as Vidme, Vimeo, and Bitchute are rising up to challenge YouTube’s intolerance.
