(Angry Patriot) – Degenerate liberals are quick to label those of Faith as “bigots,” painting them as villains to be freely bombarded with hateful commentary. Unfortunately, even the Supreme Court is feeling the pressure to conform to their heathenism.
Samuel Alito, Supreme Court Justice, spoke out on Wednesday stating: “A wind is picking up that is hostile to those with traditional moral beliefs,” via NJ.com.
This is not the first time Justice Alito has spoken out on traditional moral values. In 2015, he publicly rejected the idea of same-sex marriage — and was met with nothing but hate.
Advocati Christi hosted Alito’s speech last week. As a group of lawyers and judges who focus on training law students about the Catholic and Christian faiths, they thought it was important to hear Justice Alito’s opinions on how to better integrate faith with the law of the land.
Make no mistake about it: Our religious freedoms are being tested. With liberals throwing traditional values out the window in favor of political correctness, the overall climate of our nation is quickly becoming hostile to those who still believe in the Lord.
Supreme Court cases that involve religious freedoms are steeped in controversy, with liberals quick to throw tantrums and scream insults in order to get their way.
Meanwhile, Catholics and Christians in the United States are being treated like second-class citizens. Many worry that their values are no longer respected OR represented by our newer laws.
“We are likely to see pitched battles in courts and Congress, state legislatures, and town halls,” Justice Alito said. “But the most important fight is for the hearts and minds of our fellow Americans. It is up to all of us to evangelize our fellow Americans about the issue of religious freedom.”
That’s right: We have to change the hearts and minds of our fellow Americans. Congress and the courts “recognize” our religious freedoms, but, ultimately, it’s We the People who make the rules.
As Americans of Faith, it’s up to us to stand up for our OWN rights, and not let liberal bullies push us around. Now is the time to ask: How important is your faith to you? Is it worth fighting for?
Justices like Samuel Alito will continue to fight the good fight for religious freedom, but it’s up to We the People to support him. Even when faced with religious persecution and ignorant insults from the left, we have to stand up for what we believe in, and show that there are more of us than there are of them. Only then will the lawmakers take us seriously, and start to work in our favor
